We know you’ll get the best fit you have ever experienced. To ensure the fit, all staff members participate in a rigorous training program to become experts in shoe fitting and foot health.
In addition to our sales staff Murray’s Shoes has Pedorthist on staff. As Pedorthist we perform extensive studies of foot and lower limb anatomy, pathology, and biomechanics. This involves human locomotion, gait analysis, footwear fitting, lower extremity orthotic design, fabrication and materials, shoe construction or modifications, and patient management.
Jim Murray – Pedorthist
Jim owns and operates Murray’s Shoes & Pedorthic’s, a fifth generation shoe business. He went to Northwestern University Medical School’s Prosthetic/Orthotic Center in Chicago, where he completed the required courses in Pedorthic’s. He sat for the boards and was certified as a Pedorthist by the American Board for Certification (ABC). His 50 year’s experience has been devoted to the use of footwear in conjunction with orthotics to address lower extremity disorders.
Alicia Murray – Vice President
As fifth generation, Alicia, has been working in the family business for the past 18 years. Since graduating from CU of Denver with a Bachelor’s degree in Business she has taken on the responsibility of buying the shoes and the day to day operation of the business.
Amy Carroll – Professional Shoe Fitter
Amy has been a part of the Murray team for five years. Her knowledge of the business and shoes has helped the day to day operations run smooth.
Jula Barlettani – Professional Shoe Fitter
Jula has been a part of the Murray team for over a year. Her expertise in fitting shoes has helped many customers walk out with a smile on their face.
Lincoln Murray – Store Greeter
Lincoln has been with us for three years and can be seen roaming the store making sure all the customers have had their dose of Lincoln love. When he isn’t busy comforting customers he can be found snoozing by the socks.
