A Knowledgeable Staff of Shoe Fitting Specialist

Our staff is dedicated to offering you extraordinary service. We are here to provide you with the best proportional fit as possible, in shoes that fit your lifestyle. We know you’ll get the best fit you have ever experienced. To ensure the fit, all staff members participate in a rigorous training program to become experts in shoe fitting and foot health.

In addition to our sales staff Murray’s Shoes has Pedorthist on staff. As Pedorthist we perform extensive studies of foot and lower limb anatomy, pathology, and biomechanics. This involves human locomotion, gait analysis, footwear fitting, lower extremity orthotic design, fabrication and materials, shoe construction or modifications, and patient management.

Jim Murray Ped. – owns and operates Murray’s Shoes & Pedorthic’s, a fifth generation shoe business. He went to Northwestern University Medical School’s Prosthetic/Orthotic Center in Chicago, where he completed the required courses in Pedorthic’s. He sat for the boards and was certified as a Pedorthist by the American Board for Certification (ABC). His 50 year’s experience has been devoted to the use of footwear in conjunction with orthotics to address lower extremity disorders.

Alicia Murray VP. – as fifth generation, has been working in the family business for the past 18 years. Since graduating from CU of Denver with a Bachelor’s degree in Business she has taken on the responsibility of buying the shoes and the day to day operation of the business. She will continue working in the store as a professional shoe fitter while using her experience to keeping the Pedorthic part of Murray’s Shoes well supplied with footwear to accommodate our needs.

Amy Carroll Professional Shoe Fitter – has been a part of the Murray team for over a year. Her expertise in fitting shoes has helped many customers walk out with a smile on their face.
